The tradition of excellence carries over to the 21st century as the Outcome-based Pre-service Teacher Education Program of AdZU was awarded several certificates of recognition for completing the Curriculum Quality Audit (CQA) Process during the CQA Closing and Awarding Ceremony last August 3, 2018 at Pacific Hall, Hotel H20, Manila Ocean Park, as part of the Basic Education Sector Transformation (BEST) Program.
The CQA Project, led by the Philippine Normal University – Center for Teacher Quality (PNU-RCTQ) in partnership with the University of New England-SiMERR, is designed to reveal the extent to which the course syllabus components – description, outcomes, content, and assessment – are aligned to the Beginning Teacher’s Indicators of the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers
Fr Marcos Louis D Catalan SJ was set to receive the Certificate of Recognition given to AdZU as a partner institution. Marjorie S Emmanuel PhD, Evelyn G Chavez PhD, and Anita R Tagadiad, all from the School of Education, were also awarded certificates of recognition as CQA Specialists.
Amidst progress and development, AdZU continually sustains its ideals of upholding excellence in education.
