Team OA Knee-mo!, composed of Biomedical Engineering students John Timothy N., Suelan, Abdulaziz I. Abdukahil, and Adrienne Alexis L. Arado, with coaches Engr. Abdul Hadi H. Nograles and Engr. Abigail Joy C. Subido, represented Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU) and won the championship title at the Philippine Startup Challenge X – Regional Pitching Competition for Region IX on November 6, 2025. The same team also received the Best Pitch Video award. Team OA Knee-mo! will represent Region IX at the National Pitching Competition in Clark, Pampanga, on December 3–4, 2025.
The Philippine Startup Challenge X (PSC X) is a national startup ideation competition organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), featuring several stages that begin with the Regional Pitching Competition conducted by each DICT Regional Office.
All AdZU teams performed exceptionally well, with three teams securing positions in the Top 3. Team Myosug, consisting of Krishna Alexandra C. Alih, Giovanni G. Galves, and Fairouz P. Hussin, claimed the 1st Runner-Up spot and received the Best Logo Award.
The College of Science, Information Technology, and Engineering (CSITE) warmly congratulates all participants for their outstanding performance in the competition. Their perseverance in transforming ideas into successful startup concepts is commendable. CSITE looks forward to seeing these innovative ideas showcased at the National Pitching Competition, inspiring others and demonstrating how simple ideas can come to life and make a positive impact on the community.
