July 28, 2025 – We honored the transformative journey of the IñIGO Batch 2025 at the Gallery of the Peninsula and Archipelago, where 28 BS Nursing students reflected on their immersion in Siay, Zamboanga Sibugay. Their experiences from mangrove tree planting, rice crop planting, calamansi picking, and art apprecation became living testaments to Laudato Si’ in action.

We were honored by the presence of Fr. Guillrey Anthony Andal, SJ, who emphasized the immersees’ dedication to care for our common home through their contribution and commitment to ecological transformation.

Through art exhibits and shared testimonials, the immersees demonstrated how two weeks of planting, healing, and learning forged bonds with the Siay community, which rekindled the fire to protect our environment. As Social Development Unit Director Ms. Aurora Gonzales reminded us, this culmination is not an end but the start of their lifelong mission as ecological stewards.

We express our gratitude to the Social Development Unit, College of Nursing, School of Liberal Arts, and the Ateneo Center for Culture and Arts for their support in the success of this program.

To Batch 2025, may you carry these lessons forward, turning reflection into action.
