The Psychology Department is represented in the student body by its recognized academic organization Ateneo Psychology Society (APS) also known as PsychSoc. The Ateneo Psychological Society is the official co-curricular student organization for BS Psychology students of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University aims to serve as a unifying channel for Psychology majors in Ateneo de Zamboanga. It aims, through its program, to develop students’ interest, knowledge and skills in the study of psychology. It also aims to protect and promote the interest and welfare of the psychology students.
The department also recently established the Psych ICare, a student organization mostly composed of 3rd and 4th year psychology students, dedicated to environmental advocacies and community outreach programs.
Together, these two academic organizations help cultivate the spirit of excellence, generosity and citizenship among psychology students.
