ACES Corner | Session on Cleanliness and Health in the Community and Coastal Cleanup with JJC – AdZU

On February 13, ACES joined forces with the Junior Jaycees Chamber – AdZU Chapter for a meaningful day of action and education in Barangay Limpapa. ACES helped facilitate a coastal cleanup and an interactive session on “Kalinisan at Kalusugan sa Komunidad.” This initiative is vital promoting the link between a clean environment and community health.

From removing waste along the shoreline to engaging residents, especially the children, in conversations about proper waste management and its impact on both land and sea, this initiative highlighted the power of community-driven environmental action. ACES was honored to facilitate the activity, supporting the JJC’s commitment to youth-led service and sustainable change.

This collaborative effort reflects our shared dedication to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 14: Life Below Water and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

We thank the Junior Jaycees Chamber – AdZU Chapter for their passion and partnership, and the community of Barangay Limpapa for their warm participation. Together, we are building healthier communities and cleaner coasts!
