ACES Corner | ACES, Ecowatch, and Eco-warriors Take Part in the International Coastal Clean-Up

The Ateneo Center for Environment and Sustainability (ACES), alongside the passionate members of The Ecowatch Organization – Ateneo de Zamboanga University and our Eco-Warriors, came together early to take action for our oceans through the International Coastal Clean-Up (ICC) last September 20, 2025, at R.T. Lim Boulevard, Cawa-Cawa, Zamboanga City organized by the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Zamboanga City through the Coastal Resources and Management Unit.

By joining forces, we made a real impact toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) #14: Life Below Water — protecting marine life and promoting healthy, sustainable oceans.

We would like to extend our appreciation to everyone who showed up and helped turn the tide against marine pollution. Every piece of trash collected today brings us one step closer to a cleaner, stronger Zamboanga coastline.

Let’s keep this energy going and continue making waves for the environment!
