Representatives from UNICEF Philippines, Generation Unlimited (GenU), YOMA (Youth Agency Marketplace), and the Learning to Earning Pathways (LEaP!) Programme under Ateneo Learning and Teaching Excellence Center (ALTEC) visited the Vice President for Higher Education and the Vice President for Administration of Ateneo de Zamboanga University. The courtesy visit reaffirmed strong partnerships and opened opportunities for deeper collaboration.
A key highlight of the meeting was the discussion on integrating LEaP!’s foundational and core courses into the university curriculum, allowing students to connect academic learning with practical skills and future employment pathways. The initiative aims to equip young people with the skills, values, and opportunities they need to thrive in today’s dynamic world.
The collaboration reflects a commitment to Compañerismo, upholding Ignatian values, and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through these partnerships, AdZU and its collaborators continue to strengthen pathways from learning to earning and leadership, ensuring education serves as a bridge to opportunity, empowerment, and hope for the youth.
