At Ateneo de Zamboanga University, the safety and well-being of our community remain a core mission—an essential foundation for learning, growth, and formation.
On July 26, 2025, the AdZU Grade School Safety Team met with Mr Ariel Delgado, University Safety Officer, for a Safety Follow-Up and Orientation. The session served as both a refresher on essential safety protocols and a reaffirmation of the school’s commitment to vigilance, readiness, and awareness.
The orientation emphasized that safety is not a one-time effort but a continuing responsibility. By revisiting existing measures and identifying areas for improvement, the Safety Team strengthens its mission to provide a secure, nurturing environment for students, teachers, and staff alike.
“Because a safe school is a strong school,” the University Safety Office underscores its dedication to ensuring that every member of the AdZU community feels protected, empowered, and prepared to respond with confidence.
Together, we nurture a culture where safety is not just a policy—but a shared responsibility that binds us as one Ateneo community.
