RE: ISRA WAL MIRAJ HOLIDAY ON 29 JUNE
Per advice of the Office on Muslim Affairs of Zamboanga Peninsula, 29 June 2011, Wednesday, is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday to celebrate Isra Wal Miraj, a commemoration of Prophet Mohammad’s night journey and ascension to heaven. We will have no offices and classes at all levels on this day.
We are in solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters in celebrating this very important event in the life of Prophet Mohammad.
