The Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU), together with the ADZU Alumni Association (ADZUAA), will have a simple celebration for this year’s Alumni Grand Homecoming on December 5,6,7 and 8, 2013.
The alumni homecoming will begin with a recollection at 9:00 AM on December 5, 2013 at the University Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Fr Eusebio Salvador, SJ campus, ADZU, with Fr Karel S San Juan, SJ, the new ADZU President as the recollection master.
Due to the recent crisis that Zamboanga City and for security reasons the association has decided to forego the torch parade. In addition, the Homecoming night will be held at the Astoria Regency Convention Center at Pasonanca, this city on December 7, 2013 at 5PM onwards.
The Blue and White Ball, where many alumni come together for fellowship will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the Rigodon Hall, Hacienda de Palmeras at Sta. Maria this city. Ticket price is Php400.00.
Registration for the Homecoming is Php 100.00. Food catering is centralized care of Astoria Regency at Php 250.00 per person. Reservation and payment shall be made through the Alumni Relations and Development Office (ARDO), Ground Floor LRC Building, Ateneo de Zamboanga University, La Purisima campus. We request however that reservation be made by batch through the representative.
Part of the proceeds of the registration fee and Blue and White Ball ticket sale will go to the ADZU Rehabilitation Fund for Zamboanga City.
