UPDATE on AdZU-Lantaka Campus

The AdZU-Lantaka campus, since its turnover to City Government last March 22, to temporarily serve as a COVID-19 Facility, has been run by volunteer doctors and nurses who go on duty at the facility by rotation.

Acting as administrators on a daily rotation basis are Dr Henry Ratag, Chief Operating Officer of Zamboanga Peninsula Medical Center (ZamPen); Dr Marvin Valaquio from the City Health Office (CHO), and the medical directors of the various hospitals in the city and Basilan. They include Dr Maritess Maxino of Brent Hospital, Dr Edwina Cabato of Zamboanga Doctors Hospital (ZDH); Dr Rienne Minsuarez of Alano Hospital in Basilan; Dr Armand Lorenzo of West Metro Medical Center (WMMC); Dr Walid Amil of Hospital de Zamboanga, Dr Marissa Lim of Ciudad Medical Zamboanga, and Dr Said Hasan of ZamPen.

Also forming part of administration are: James Noel, Chief Revenue Officer of WMMC, and Atty Marti Gregorio, Administrative Officer of Brent Hospital. For the time being, the campus is now named as the Private Hospital Association of the Philippines or PHAPI-Lantaka COVID-19 Facility, managing mild PUI cases in the city, in coordination with the CHO.
