MEMO TO: THE ADZU COMMUNITY
RE: SECURITY CONCERNS/ REMINDERS
In view of the precarious peace and order situation in the city, brought about by the incidence of abductions, shootings, and other security concerns, I am asking the members of the University community to be more vigilant and to take extra precautionary measures to ensure our personal safety and of those in our care .
The University Security Office (USO), headed by Mr Francis Jay S Llenado, is tasked with overseeing all matters pertaining to safety and security. Thus, I urge the community to report immediately to USO any irregularity (e.g., unattended items, unusual activities, suspicious behaviors, or presence of strangers in campus, etc.). They can be reached at local 1015 or 1114.
In this time of Lent, let us reflect on the events of these past weeks as we pray for a resolution of the challenges we face in these trying times and for justice for all the victims.
