The Social Awareness and Community Service Involvement (SACSI) office organized a general assembly for recognized partnering communities and institutions of its National Service Training Program (NSTP). It was held last June 23, 2012 at the Fr. Manuel M. Sauras SJ Conference Hall, Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
The assembly served as an avenue for the office, led by its NSTP team, to introduce the new NSTP formators to the representatives of the affiliated barangays and institutions. It also paved the way for the organizers to discuss and review the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that SACSI and the partnering communities and institutions have agreed upon last year. Moreover, it enabled the representatives to exchange ideas and suggestions with the NSTP formators in the hopes of improving the program this year.
Attending the general assembly were representatives of the following partnering barangays and institutions: Brgy. Pasonanca, Brgy. Tugbungan, Brgy. Lumbangan, Brgy. San Roque, Baliwasan Central School, Zamboanga East Central School, Zamboanga West Central School, Lumbangan Elementary School, Lunzuran Elementary School, Tugbungan Elementary School, Talon-Talon Elementary School, and St. Francis House Drop-In Center.
