Each child is a precious gift to be cherished and to be loved. As beautiful as this ideal may seem, it is not always the case. There are still numerous instances wherein a child is left alone or in the care of orphanages to fend for themselves. Admittedly, however, institutions such as these can only cover the basic needs of these children.
In line with this, the College of Nursing Outreach Committee in partnership with Junior Chamber International- Junior Jaycees Jambangan ADZU chapter will be conducting a love drive at RCSS Orphanage located in Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City on March 15, 2010.
In behalf of the group, we are soliciting your help for any donations of children’s clothing, toys, books, and the like. Donations are accepted at the College of Nursing Office by Ms. Floribel San Luis, Ms. Dyana Marciana M. Saplan, and Mr. Aaron A. Mendoza. Acceptance of donations is only until March 12, 2010.
Let us once again open up are hearts and minds to the plight of our less fortunate brothers and sisters. With our donations, let us give them one more reason to grace us with their smiles.
