Last December 2, 2010, current scholars and some alumni scholars of the Menzi Trust Fund Inc. came together for a reunion at the New Hall of Lantaka Hotel with their benefactor, represented by Mr. Onofre Griño Jr. .
Alumni Scholars came from as far as the cities of Pagadian and Cotabato to grace the occasion and to take the opportunity to show their gratitude to their generous benefactor who made their dreams of attaining an excellent Jesuit education possible. Those present were the following: Eduardo Misa, BSN, Clinical Instructor, STI, Zamboanga City; Randi Revilla, Accountant, PCA- Pagadian City; Muamar Abduhassan , BS Medicine, ADZU- SOM on review; Simhar Jumala SPO1 , PNP, Cotabato City.
The current scholars were also in attendance, Angelo Junie Dagoy – BSECE-3, Ralph Murillo – BSIT 2 and Kenneth Perez – BSN – 1.
Mr. Griño, in his message, mentioned that the Menzi Trust fund Inc. scholarship was initially founded by Gen. Hans Menzi for the children of employees of the Menzi group of companies. Later, it was opened to all poor but deserving male applicants.
