In a heartfelt expression of gratitude, Elmer B Corong, Local Youth Development Officer of San Roque, Northern Samar, and a proud alumnus of the LEaP! Programme, shared how impactful LEaP! has been for the youth in their municipality. He emphasized how the programme’s support helped fill gaps in local youth development efforts in their area.
“Anong Kwentong LEaP! mo?” is a short reel-storytelling series that highlights real-life experiences of youth advocates, local partners, and participants across five LEaP! Sites, stories like that of Elmer. It serves as a platform to share how the “LEaP! Programme” has made a difference in their lives and in creating an impact in their own communities.
Among those featured is James Manahan, Project Head of Reshaping Education & Skills Training for Aspiring Resilient Teens (RESTART) from DMC College Foundation, Inc. With support from LEaP!. He and his team help young people craft strong résumés, write clear cover letters, and prepare for their career journey ahead.
In Dipolog City, Meckian Belle Cabilin, the Most Outstanding Batang Dipag, shared how the LEaP! Programme taught her to dream bigger, turning aspirations into actions and giving her the confidence to pursue her life goals.
“Anong Kwentong LEaP! Mo?” shares how the LEaP! Programme has helped young people LEaP! closer to their life goals. More than just a storytelling series, it brings youth with their lived experiences closer to the public by providing a platform for them to share how the programme has shaped their personal growth, especially in leading meaningful change within their communities.
