The Ateneo de Zamboanga University, through the University Communications Office, Peace Advocacy Desk, and The Beacon Publications, is launching Media Awareness Week from June 29 – July 4, 2019.
To kick off the celebration, the Ateneo is inviting the community to a Media Literacy Symposium entitled “AKSYON: Bakit Dapat MagPatrol ng TV ng 24 Oras?” on June 29, 2019, at the Multi-Purpose Hall Saavedra Building, Salvador Campus, La Purisima. Registration starts at 8:00 am. This event is held in partnership with Anak TV, an advocacy organization that promotes television literacy and child-sensitive, family-friendly television in the Philippines.
