CPVA launches National Arts Month Activities for AdZU

In celebration of National Arts Month this coming February, the Center for Performing and Visual Arts have programmed a series of cultural and artistic activities and events for the entire ADZU community.

This year’s nationwide theme is “Art on the Edge”. It focuses on the advancements achieved in different art forms, the innovations, the modern evolution of art, and the artistic creations in the peripheries. At the same time, the celebration will also highlight art as a means of healing in light of the major calamities that struck the country.

The center encourages ADZU faculty from all grade and year levels to consider making at least one of the programmed activities as an alternative classroom learning experience.

For the entire month of February, the line-up of activities is as follows:

Feb 14 PAGLAWIG: Sailing for Peace Visual Arts Exhibit

Feb 15 RHYTHM OF THE EDGE: Saturday Arts Class Recital

Feb 19-21 LET’S DANCE TO THE EDGE: Dance Workshop

Feb 24-28 LANA SARDINAS: A Puppet Musical
