MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEWLY CERTIFIED TEACHERS!
I am delighted to inform our community that in the September 2010 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), our graduates did very well.
For Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), our first timers (all from Class of 2010) posted an 80% passing rate (4/5 passed the LET) while the national passing rate was 19.58% (7,737/39,508 passed the exam).
For Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd), our first timers posted 83.33% (20/24 passed the LET) with an overall passing rate of 77.78% (21/27 passed the exam). The national passing rate was 25.86% (9,493/36,714 passed the LET).
The BSEd Class of 2010 posted a passing rate of 94.12% (16/17 passed the test).
I wish to congratulate our newly licensed teachers.
I thank and congratulate the School of Education led by its Dean Dr Evelyn G Chavez for enabling our students to pass successfully the LET.
