MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS
I am happy to announce to our community that in the October 2009 LET(Licensure Examination for Teachers) our new BSED graduates registered a passing rate of 90%, i.e., 18 out of 20 examinees passed, while our new BEED graduates posted a passing rate of 75%, i.e., 3 out of 4 takers passed. Our overall passing rate for BSED graduates was 77%, that is, 24 out of 31 passed, and for BEED graduates was 67%, i.e., 4 out of 6 passed LET. The national passing rate was 28% (for BSED) and 19% (for BEED).
I would like to congratulate and thank our new professional teachers for their very fine LET performance. I wish to extend the same greeting to the faculty and staff of the School of Education under the leadership of its Dean, Dr Evelyn G Chavez.
