As we culminate the centennial jubilee celebration on July 2013, the Ateneo de Zamboanga University is delighted to announce the publication of a limited-edition coffee table book that tells an extraordinary story of a school’s successes surrounding challenges and uncertainties.
PRO DEO ET PATRIA: 100 YEARS OF ATENEO DE ZAMBOANGA, 1912-2012 traces the history of Ateneo de Zamboanga, from its humble beginnings as a small parochial school in 1912 through its postwar rebuilding and its development into a University. This 200-page coffee table book is a celebration of AdZU’s history and tradition of Excellence, Spirituality and Citizenship with rare photographs of events, places and people.
Due to be launched on July 30, 2013, the book is now available for early orders. A special price of P2,000.00 is given to those who will order and pay before and during the launch on July 30. The book will be sold at P2,500.00 after the launch. For our AdZU Faculty and Staff, payment may be made through salary deduction payable in two (2) months starting on July 30 to September 15, 2013. The AdZU coffee-table book will surely take you a trip back in time to remember, reflect and revel in some of the milestones and people that have made Ateneo de Zamboanga all that it is today and will be in the future.
