RE :AMUN JADID MESSAGE
Every new year signifies a beginning of a new cycle that brings forth new hope, new challenges, and renewed commitment. The ushering of the Islamic New Year, shortly following the commemoration of Fiesta Pilar, becomes a fortuitous celebration of mutual respect, plurality of faiths and acceptance of religious inclusivity especially for the Zamboangueños.
Thus, we greet our Muslim brothers and sisters in their celebration of Amun Jadid, and offer prayers for renewed commitment to peace, justice and solidarity.
