All Gears Set for AdZU’s Robotics Program for AY19-20

The Ateneo Grade School and Junior High School students are set for a more exciting, explorative, and interactive learning come June this year as the University fully integrates Robotics in its Grade School and Junior High School Curriculum.

Partnering with techFactors, Inc, AdZU is integrating Robotics in the Basic Education Curriculum to boost the development of 21st-century skills among grade schoolers and junior high students, by sharpening their skills in problem-solving and collaboration with peers, while nurturing their creativity and imagination. It is expected that this program will also awaken the students’ interest in ICT-related courses as early as kindergarten.

Robotics will be implemented in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) component of the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) in Junior High School, while the Grade School will have it as part of their Computer Education classes.
