The Ateneo de Zamboanga University Senior High School organized a ZipGrade Workshop yesterday, August 09, 2024, at the Sch Richie Fernando SJ Hall. The workshop was conducted by the Department Chairperson of the Ignatian Spirituality and Philosophy Department, Mr Jhon Michael Rojas; Earth and Life Science Department Faculty Member, Mr June Dexter Martinez; and Physical Science Department Faculty Member, Miss Armina Wahid.
This workshop was a two-hour session that aimed to address the needs of the teachers to integrate technology, streamline the process of grading assessments, and make data-driven decisions in teaching and assessments through the use of the ZipGrade tool.
In attendance was the SHS Assistant Principal for Academics, Miss Diane S. Candiido, as well as select faculty members from the different departments under the Academic Cluster.
This workshop is part of the Professional Learning Circle Program of the Unit, which, aside from allowing members to discuss and reflect on the successes and challenges of the school, gives them a chance to learn novel ideas and trends under a specific subject area that contributes to professional development.
