RE : ADZU LANTAKA CAMPUS

On behalf of the AdZU Board of Trustees, I would like to announce to the University community that the Lantaka Hotel property has recently been donated to the Ateneo de Zamboanga University. It will be called “Ateneo de Zamboanga University Lantaka Campus.” It will be used for educational, spiritual, religious, and social development purposes, in the service of our mission for Zamboanga and Mindanao, pro Deo et patria.
We thank the donor for this generous gift and partnership in our mission, and we vow to be responsible stewards of this property, which is a beloved cultural heritage icon in Zamboanga.
I have formed a team who will prepare this new campus for use. We will announce developments in due time, including when we are free to enter the premises. There will soon be opportunities to visit the place. For inquiries, please contact the Office of the President, or the Assistant to the President for Rebuilding, Engr Eugene Kanindot.
We thank God for this blessing. We pray for the donor and those who facilitated this donation. We pray as a community that this gift will deepen our involvement in our mission of love and service for God and country.
