AdZU High School wins ZDO High School Cup
Four AdZU High School teams advanced to the High School Grand Finals of the 4th Zamboanga Debate Open last January 29, 2014. The three-day tournament from January 27-29, was hosted by the Brent Debate Society in partnership with the Zamboanga Parliamentary Debate Union.
Five elimination rounds determined the teams which qualified for the Pre-Semi Finals and Semi Finals of the Main Break, as well as those High School teams advancing to the HS Grand Finals. Among the 12 teams which qualified for the Pre-Semis, Ateneo de Zamboanga University HS B (Caryl Tinae and Sofiya Salim) ranked 9th.

The Adjudication Core was composed of Sanjeev Parmanand, Arnold Bucoy and Rene Gandeza. Other participating institutions were Brent College, Mindanao State University (HS and College), and Cebu Institute of Technology.
