With the CLE department taking the lead, the high school unit will host the July 28 revelry at the Multi-Purpose Covered Courts for the ADZU centennial year celebration. Starting from 8:00 AM, classes from all year levels will surely be excited to showcase their talent, dancing prowess, and intelligence as they are expected to participate in the various activities in line for the entire morning.
The senior students will mostly likely remember the history of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University when the prepare for their dramatization and tableau of the centennial panels. Second year students will have their opportunity to shine when they have their song and dance presentation of selected Jesuit songs. While some of them may be new to the university and the Ignatian tradition, the first year students are expected to display their knowledge of St. Ignatius as well as the history of AdZU when they take center stage for the “Pera O Bayongala Ignacio” game. Not to be outdone are the third year students in their cheer dance competition taking on the centennial theme of “Living 100 Years of Excellence, Spirituality and Citizenship.”
July 28 will surely be a day to look forward and to remember.
