The Grade School Unit of Ateneo de Zamboanga University welcomes the academic year 2011-2012 with a program last June 06, 2011 at the Multi-Purpose Covered Courts. As a start off in the program, Fr. Florencio R. Cuerquis S.J., the school chaplain led a prayer and asked for God’s blessing for a productive new school year. The students were graciously welcomed by Mrs. Pilar C. Agraviador, the principal and Father President Antonio F. Moreno S.J. with his words of encouragement. He also highlighted “citizenship” as this year’s centennial theme.
The faculty and staff of the unit were also introduced to the entire student body which got the students excited finding out their respective moderators and subject teachers who they will spend time learning and gaining knowledge and insights for the whole school year.
Once again, the campus was full of activity with students and teachers engaging and looking forward to an abundant school year for this unit.
