MEMO TO : THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
RE : AdZU DEBATE UNION AS 2015 MINDANAO DEBATE CHAMPION
I congratulate the Ateneo Debate Union (ADU) for winning the 32nd Mindanao Debate Championship this year. The competition was held at Father Urios University in Butuan City from Sept 4-6.
AdZU fielded five debating teams; with Team A, composed of Debra Ann Ponce (BSAc 2) and Kurt Jesher Recinto (BSAc 3), emerging as the champion. Team C‘s Bianca Roma De Leon (BS bio 2) and Allen Ross Sanoria (BSAc 3) also reached the quarter finals.
I would also like to thank and commend the following individuals for representing the University:
Team B – Andre Dagoy (BSAc 3) and Romel Delosa (BSAc 2)
Team D – Darren Biri (BSAc 3) and Addulhakim Jul (BS Bio 2)
