November 2024

On November 9, 2024, in collaboration with the College of Nursing, we celebrated the Nursing Academic Organization Days with a tree-planting activity at the AdZU-ACES adopted area in Pasonanca Muruk.

The event also included biodiversity scanning and assessments conducted by BS Biology students as part of their thesis work, with support from EcoWatch volunteers. The day continued with a trek into the watershed, where participants attended a seminar on the importance of protecting our natural resources, delivered by the Office of the Community Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO) through PAMO.

The seminar emphasized the importance of preserving the Pasonanca Natural Watershed, which was recently designated as the 52nd ASEAN Heritage Park, the 10th in the Philippines, and the first in the Zamboanga Peninsula.
Our planet, our responsibility — every small action counts. Let’s protect our Mother Earth!
