The AdZU Campus Ministry Office spearheaded the celebration of the Bible Week on January 27 – 30, 2014. It was a week of celebration through some activities and competitions that aimed to encourage students to be aware of the contents of the bible and to appreciate the importance of the bible in their daily life experiences.
On January 27 students enrolled in RS classes participated in the Quiz Bowl competition held at the Campion Lecture Hall. Lectio Divina, which is a form of bible sharing, was held on January 28 and 30 at the Immaculate Conception Chapel.
On January 29 an activity entitled “Parables: Stories and Songs” which was held at the Campion Lecture Hall. The performers for the Parables: Stories and Songs were Shalini Kristy Dalis, Roberto J Oquias Jr., Dan Angelo Solon, Eisebelle Arnuco, Ted Anderson S. Jao, and Paul Vincent S. Miole. Classes who watched/participated came from selected RS, Philosophy, and FFP classes. These classes are handled by Mr Joel Porras, Mr Joseph Climaco, and Mr Christopher Sarsoza.
The winners of the Quiz Bowl Competition were: 1st Place (Ronalyn Rovic M. Saplad and Lovely Coleen T. Candoleta) from RS 112 E under the class of Mr. Joseph Climaco; 2nd Place (Krezcely B. Borja and Darius Jonathan L. Lee) from RS 114 P under the class of Mr. Filemon G. Flores; 3rd Place ( Precious Kale F. Dela Cruz and Benjie B. Sumicad) from RS 112 L under the class of Mr. Joseph Climaco
