AdZU Basic Ed Athletes bag PSZCAA 2015 Overall Championship
With a combined harvest of 84 medals, the Ateneo de Zamboanga University Junior High School and Grade School athletes bagged the overall championship during the Private Schools of Zamboanga City Athletic Association (PSZCAA) Meet 2015 held in this city on September 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, 25-27, and October 3-4.
The AdZU-JHS athletes emerged as the overall champion in the secondary category with 35 gold medals, 13 silver, and 6 bronze. In the elementary category, AdZU-GS athletes garnered 2ndrunner-up with 7 gold medals, 10 silver, and 13 bronze.
In the overall tally, Claret GS/HS placed second by earning 30 gold medals, 34 silver, and 21 bronze. The third spot went to Ferndale GS/HS with 11 gold medals, 5 silver and 2 bronze.
Athletes from 18 private junior high schools, and 15 grade schools in Zamboanga City competed in the following sports: Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Chess, Football, Sepak takraw, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, and Volleyball.
