The Ateneo de Zamboanga University Office of Admissions will formally start its recruitment campaign to various high schools in Region IX on September 3, 2012.
The campaign will target the graduating high school students of the different secondary schools in the region. Among the first schools to be visited are those in Zamboanga City, Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga del Norte, Basilan Province, Dapitan, and Dipolog Area.
The campaign hopes to promote the Ateneo by informing senior high school students about the different academic programs that the University offers. It also aims to encourage students to enroll in the Ateneo by informing them about the numerous scholarship programs that the school grants to deserving applicants.
The campaign team will be composed of some faculty members of the different colleges of the University, student volunteers and the Director for Scholarships. It will be headed by the Director of Admissions and his staff.
