
Hosted by the Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC) and the Center for Health Development – Zamboanga Peninsula (ZP CHD), this milestone event marks a new era where health and climate action converge to build a resilient and empowered nation.

Mr. Lovey Jey Perez, representing the Ateneo Center for Environment and Sustainability (ACES), served as one of the panel speakers on November 5 at Garden Orchids. He presented the ALeRTO Early Warning System, showcasing how science, technology, and community engagement can strengthen climate and disaster preparedness.

ALeRTO RF, funded by DOST-IX and implemented by Ateneo de Zamboanga University, is designed to improve flood alerts, real-time environmental monitoring, and community disaster readiness across vulnerable areas in Mindanao.
