April 23, 2025 – Roots were made for planting! On April 23, 2025, ACES joined hands with the 4th Year BS Psychology students enrolled in Environmental Psychology in late celebration of the International Earth Day through a special Bamboo Propagation Activity. Because sustainable growth starts with small steps.
Why did we choose to propagate bamboo? First, it is fast-growing. Next, it helps to keep the soil in place to mitigate soil erosion. Lastly, it also provides livelihood for the communities.
Today, we were able to propagate 91 bamboo cuttings. 91! That’s 91 more than none! The takeaway? Every seedling counts. Let’s keep growing change together!
