The Center for Digital and Blended Learning of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University was established on July 1, 2024, and is envisioned to lead initiatives towards 21st century teaching and learning by harnessing the power of technology to enhance instructional delivery and learning modality and to ensure continuity and academic excellence even in the face of disruptions or changing circumstances. CDBL shall focus on leveraging technology for instructional and learning purposes and enhancing experiences for both students and faculty.

Its mandate includes:
1. Integration of Digital and Blended Learning: Fostering a dynamic learning environment aligned with Ignatian values through digital and blended methodologies that also assure continuity of quality education despite disruptions to in-person classes.

2. Focus on Instructional Technology: Identifying, evaluating, and implementing digital tools for enhanced learning.
Its mandate includes:
3. Collaboration with Academic Units: Tailoring digital learning strategies and blended learning programs in collaboration with each unit.

4. Ethical Use of AI in Learning and Teaching: Integrating ethical guidelines and providing training for faculty and learners.
