students of Ateneo de Zamboanga Junior High School participated in the Student
Leadership Camp, held last May 15-18 at Silsilah Harmony Village, Pitogo, Zamboanga
City.
Various
activities occurred within the 4 days. It was started by an introduction led by
Bro. Edryan Paul J Colmenares, followed by team building activities for the
first day and second day. Planning for the incoming school year was held on the
third day of the camp and followed by the Social’s Night led by Ms. Rosie R
Ledesma, Student Activities Coordinator and Ms. Cristina P Alegado, Council of
Leaders Moderator. On the final day, a mass was celebrated by Fr. Arnel T Ong
and an evaluation ended the camp.
The
camp’s objectives were to provide an avenue for the student leaders to build a
strong team through dynamic group activities; to synergize student activities
through a day of strategic planning and evaluation of the activities from the
past academic year to the incoming school year; and to align student activities
in the Ignatian Core Values through a day of prayer.
