I congratulate the following for their commendable performance in the
different IT and Engineering national competitions: 

 ANDROID MASTERS 2016,
a collegiate, inter-school android app development competition
GIAN CARLO GO, JOHN IVERSON GO, and ARJAY RAMISO (BS Computer Science students) for their project “DARUMA”, a fastpaced action game that boosts
spatial skills which emerged as one of the Top
5 Finalists
out of 193 entries nationwide, with Ms Fe Grace Tubog, Computer
Science Department faculty and SHS
TVL-ICT
chair,
as coach.

 

ANIMAHENASYON 2016, an
annual competition of original animated films
 

RAFAEL DANIEL EVANGELISTA V (BS in New Media and Computer Animation, Class of 2016)
for his animated film, “STRINGS”,
which bagged the Grand Prize, and
the awards for Best Production Design
and Best Narrative, with Mr Ray
Benedict Casimiro as mentor. 

 

13TH SMART SWEEP AWARDS,
an annual
competition in wireless applications development 

RENZO WEE, ARTHUR CHRISTIAN CABATINGAN (BS in Electronics and

Communications Engineering), and
BENNASEEF JULKANAIN (BS in Computer

Engineering) for their project “SALAS”, an online function hall
reservation application, which landed as one of the Top 10 finalists during the Validation Round held on December 6-8,
2016 at the AIM conference center Makati with Mr Louie Virgil Gallardo, as
mentor. The team will be competing for the grand prize in February, 2017.

 

I congratulate and thank, too, the respective chairs, Mr Romeo
Rabajante Jr (Computer Science Department) and Mr Louie Virgil Gallardo
(Engineering Department) and the rest of the CSIT administrators, faculty and staff.
