Seminar-Workshops on “Empowering School Teachers as Para-Counselors”, “Strengthening of Families through Effective Parenting” and “Solution-Focused Counseling”

The Basic Education Guidance Counselors of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University organized three (3) seminar-workshops entitled, “Empowering School Teachers as Para-Counselors”, “Strengthening of Families through Effective Parenting” and “Solution-Focused Counseling”. The seminars geared a follow-up training for teachers, parents, and counselors to expand their helping skills and to deepen their awareness on the importance of their roles in the effective facilitation of children’s growth.

The venues for the seminars were:

1. AdZU Campion Lecture Hall on September 17, 2010 at 1:00 PM
2. AdZU High School Lobby on September 18, 2010 at 8:00 AM
3. AdZU High School AVR1 on September 18, 2010 at 1:30 PM

The resource person was Dr. Susana A. Estanislao, Clinical Counseling Psychologist and Registered Guidance Counselor from the De La Salle University, Manila.
