Vision
Central to the Ateneo de Zamboanga University’s educational thrust is the task to develop “the total human person, believing that no educational program is complete unless it contributes to the physical, intellectual, social, moral and spiritual formation of the student”. For such a program the study of studies is absolutely essential.
The Religious Studies Program is the core of what makes Ateneo de Zamboanga University’s identity unique as Filipino, catholic and Jesuit School. Thus, the religious studies program in the college is an essential part of the core educational program of Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
Mission
The Ateneo de Zamboanga University’s religious Studies Program aims to respond to the present faith experience and needs of the students, where they are at in their faith-life. Its main goal is to foster maturity in the faith and life of all students. Also, the program aims to educate and develop mature and responsible students, Christians, Muslim and others.
