SED leads Summer Outreach to Sangali Teachers

The School of Education (SED) gave a 5-day seminar workshop on Managing Differentiated Instruction to teachers of Sangali National High School (SNHS) on May 17-21, 2010 at the Carlos Dominguez Conference Hall in AdZU. This event was held in partnership with the ELDP Office and Western Mindanao Power Corporation (WMPC) through Mr. Oscar Carzada’s coordination. This is also the first installment of SED’s Adopt-a-School Program in the said school.

The training was designed to assist teachers in managing factors of student learning profiles, large classes, and time in a differentiated classroom experience. The workshop facilitators were Ms. Anita R. Tagadiad, Ms. Dorothy Joann Lei O. Labrador, Ms. Liza M. Garrido, Mr. Earl Francis C. Pasilan, Ms. Fuvie R. Bayot, Mr. Philip Harun O. Rosco, Ms. Arlene S. Ledesma, Ms. Geraldine V. Turno, and Ms. Ma. Christina A. Cañones.

Within the coming school year, SED shall continually assist SNHS through on-site monitoring, technical assistance, and focus group discussions on their teaching experiences.
