Ateneo de Zamboanga University garnered a 25% passing rate in the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination given on May 10-11 & 17-18, 2009 by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
The national passing rate is 28.88%. The total number of examinees nationwide was 4,262 of which 1,231 passed.
There are three new CPAs from the twelve ADZU examinees. These examinees have graduated March 2008 and earlier than 2008. The March 2009 graduates intend to take the CPA board exam this October 2009.
