The Human Resource Administration and Development Office in cooperation with the ADZU Formation Office sponsored The Ignatian Spirituality in Leadership Seminar last January 15 – 17, 2009 at Our Lady of the Pillar Formation Center in Mercedes. The speaker for this seminar was Fr Willy Samson SJ who is the Assistant to the President on Formation. Twenty seven participants from the different offices and units attended the event.
Last February 13, 2009 a follow-up session entitled “Igniting Ignatian Fire” was held. The next meeting with the group will be this March for the introduction to the 19th annotation to be handled by the same speaker. For April another seminar – workshop entitled Spirituality in the Workplace is scheduled.
The purpose of this four part seminar – workshop is to train future Ignatian animators among our service and academic staff.
