The Languages Department of the School of Liberal Arts is offering Certificate in Mandarin and Certificate in English as Foreign Language (EFL) programs for the School Year 2009 – 2010. Each of these certificate programs is equivalent to a 3-unit undergraduate course.
The Mandarin Program is open to students and professionals who are interested to learn conversational or oral Mandarin. This is also offered regularly to the undergraduates as a foreign language class. The students who wish to enroll must not have any other foreign language subjects as electives or requirements in their curriculum.
The EFL Program is open to foreigners and locals whose English is a foreign language.
Registration fee is Php 3,000 for 45 hours. The Mandarin classes are scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 – 6:30 pm. The EFL classes are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:30 pm.
