MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: 2010 ATENEO SPECIAL AWARDS
I wish to inform our community that in the AdZU Board of Trustees meeting of 28 August 2010, the Ateneo Special Awards for this year will be conferred on the following:
Pro Deo et Patria Award: The Assisi Development Foundation
Archbishop Luis V del Rosario, SJ DD Award: The Archdiocese of Zamboanga
Peace Award: MindaNews
Special Plaque of Recognition: AdZU Alumnus Mr Sheron R Dayoc
The Ateneo Special Awards will be given on 19 November 2010, 3.30 PM, MPCC.
There will be no classes from 3.00 PM and no offices from 3.20 PM on the day of the conferral of awards. The Basic Education and Graduate School units will make their own arrangements regarding suspension of classes. I ask our faculty, staff and students to attend the 2010 Ateneo Special Awards.
I congratulate our special awardees for inspiring and giving us outstanding examples of Ateneo education ideals.
