Two (2) University of Hawaii at Manoa [ UHM] professors were recent visitors to the Ateneo de Zamboanga University main campus as part of an ongoing UHM-AdZU On-line collaboration which goes back to SY 2001. The UHM professors, Ms. Elena Clariza and Jeff Acido were here from July 17 to July 22, 2011 to do a series of lectures as well as share their expertise and experiences with the university staff, specifically, faculty from the Social Sciences and Languages departments under the School of Liberal Arts as well as staff of the Main Library [ Ms. Clariza is a UHM librarian].
Those who attended the lectures were AdZU students enrolled in the On -line class with UHM students which will formally begin on the last Friday of August.
