Undergraduate Program
The Psychology Department offers a BS Psychology degree program designed to equip students with a thorough understanding of the many psychological theories and practice, preparing the students for the many challenges that lie ahead in areas of research, teaching, counseling, training and service.
On the undergraduate level, the Bachelor of Science in Psychology is offered. This degree course trains students in the scientific study of human behavior, exposing them to various areas of study which include social psychology and research, testing, counseling, human resources development and management, organizational behavior, developmental, abnormal, physiological, educational & cognitive psychology, and personality theories.
The BS Psychology program can also be a stepping stone to further completing pre-medicine courses before getting into medicine proper.
