The CM Programs

A. 2nd year Recollection

It fosters a reflective way of introspecting oneself by assessing one’s relationship with the self, others, and with God. It offers a one-day spiritual formation for all second year college students that caters both Christian and Muslim recollections. This is the first recollection that the student must undergo in his/her sophomore years.

B. 3rd year Recollection

It fosters a reflective way of introspecting oneself by assessing one’s relationship with the self, others, and with God. It offers a one-day spiritual formation for all third year college students that caters both Christian and Muslim recollections.

C. Seniors’ Retreat

A three-day formation gathering for all graduating students. It refreshes, revitalizes, and gives an opportunity for students to spend time in prayer and contemplation in the light of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola.

D. Special Programs

It fosters active involvement and participation from the community members through the different initiatives and activities depending on the month celebrations of the Catholic faith. It aims to deepen the spiritual functions of the community members through the engaging activities.

E. Alliance of Religious Organizations

It fosters volunteerism and accompaniment to students from the different religious organizations under the Campus Ministry Office. Is composed of different organizations-ACIL, ALECS, ALS, CLC, SKI, MSA, PSALM, and YFC– that collaborate to create initiatives and activities that would help them grow in faith formation and to influence other young people to value spirituality and service to others.

Alliance of Religious Organizations includes the following organizations:

Ateneo Catechetical Instruction League (ACIL)

Seek to form themselves to become persons for others by responding to the call of spreading the faith through catechesis; seeking justice for them by living-out Christian lives rooted in simplicity, service, and spirituality in community.

Ateneo Lectors Society (ALECS)

Seek to form themselves into becoming men and women of God and for others by responding to take charge of the readings during eucharistic celebrations and other liturgical activities of the Ateneo Community to promote the Christian faith and values.

Ateneo Liturgical Society

This service-oriented group serves the Lord through singing during eucharistic celebrations and other liturgical activities of the Ateneo Community. They also render other services such as wedding and vigil services and other singing engagements as part of their ministry as men and women for God and country.

Christian Life Community (CLC)

A group of Christian men and women, with similar ideals to pray and worship together, and bear witness to Christ in attitudes, words and actions. It aims to develop and sustain people who commit themselves to the service of the Church and the world in every area of life. CLC spirituality is centered in Christ inspired by the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.

Society of the Knights of Ignatius (SKI)

A community of service with one heart and one mission towards becoming persons for others inspired by the Ignatian Spirit of Magis in bearing witness to Christ’s mission-”in all to love and serve.”

Youth for Christ

CFC YOUTH FOR CHRIST – is affiliated to the Couples for Christ Global Mission Foundation, Inc. and the network of its corresponding family ministries within the Philippines and abroad, in both school and community-based groups; CFC Singles for Christ, CFC Youth for Christ, CFC Kids for Christ, CFC Handmaids of the Lord, and CFC Servants of the Lord.

YFC Campus-based is catering students from schools that involve them in the culture of YFC in prayer meetings, worship and apostolates. This campus will participate in activities and endeavors of the bigger body of CFC Youth for Christ (YFC), and will often have its own activities as a campus considering the schedules, needs and character of the Institution and its students.

Philippine Students Alliance Lay Movement (PSALM)

To know, enjoy, and share the Lord, Jesus Christ; to encourage and teach students and lay persons to obey God’s word, love one another and reach out to their peers.

Muslim Students Association (MSA)

Importing the aid and guidance of the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful in order to establish an association that shall embody its common ideals, principles and aspirations to promote the general welfare and help strengthen the cause of unity among Muslims and Non-Muslims in the Ateneo Community.
