Be one with us as we celebrate the conclusion of an inspiring academic journey with the Ateneo de Zamboanga University’s 70th Higher Education Commencement Exercises which will be held on May 18, 2024 at the Fr Eusebio Salvador Campus in La Purisima.
A Baccalaureate Mass will usher in the day’s jubilant occasion channeling God’s blessings and graces to our graduates and all those present. This will be done in the morning, 10 AM, at the University Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Vice President for Higher Education, Fr Rene C Tacastacas, SJ will be the Mass’s Principal Celebrant. With him will be the University President Rev Fr Guillrey Anthony M Andal, SJ, who will impart some inspiring words to the graduates as the Mass’s Homilist.
Simultaneously, a Du’a will be done for our Muslim brothers and sisters at 10 AM, at the Campion Lecture Hall, 2nd Floor, BC Building.
Our graduates together with faculty members and academic heads will then assemble for the event’s Processional which will start at 3 PM along Camino Loyola. The Graduation Rites will promptly follow suit around 3:30 PM at the Multi-Purpose Covered Courts 1 (MPCC 1).
Graduation day is the highlight of every learners’ voyage through education. This may be the finish line, but it is far from the end. From here on, an even greater adventure in life awaits. Celebrate their story together with us as one AdZU Community.
