The Social Awareness and Community Service Involvement conducted an orientation about the CheckMySchool (CMS) program to the pioneer partner public schools namely East and West Central School, Baliwasan Central School, Pasonanca Elementary School, Lumbangan Elementary School. and Lunzuran Elementary School. This was held on February 20, 2014 at the LRC Conference Hall, Salvador SJ Campus.
CMS is a participatory monitoring initiative that aims to improve the service delivery in the public education by promoting social accountability and transparency through an actual data updating and assessment on the schools, zeroing it on the schools’ inventory and facilities. It was established as a joint initiative of the Affiliated Network for Social Accountability in the East Asia and he Pacific (ANSA-EAP) Foundation, Inc. and the Department of Education (DepEd).
